Although the role is posted as a night shift from 6:45 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. as the regular shift, new hires must be available to train on day shift from 6:45 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. for at least the first 90 days.\nActivities and duties may vary depending upon site-specific needs. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:\nOperate and maintain all processing and material handling equipment within the film extrusion process.\n\nFollow process procedures or instructions from line operators and team leaders.\n\nMonitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production specifications.\n\nSet up machines requiring high level of precision and the interaction of multiple variables.\n\nLoad raw materials, determine and manage machine controls and unload finished product.\n\nPerform routine tests and check product for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices, including calibrated measuring tapes.\n\nMonitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.\n\nSurface any malfunctions or abnormalities of equipment.\n\nMaintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.\n\nJobs may be of short, medium or long duration requiring frequent change in set up and variation in cycle. Adjusts set up and process operations accordingly.\n\nContinuously review current processes and search out improvement methods to improve product/process quality and reduce waste or rework in the process.\n\n High school diploma or equivalent or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience required.\n\nPossess or acquire within specified timing any licensures necessary to perform job.\n\nAdaptive, flexible and able to handle ambiguity.\n\nRegard safety as a core value; must serve as a role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures.\n\nActively contribute in a team-based environment, encourage open communication and positive interaction with peers and management to effectively reach common goals.\n\nStrong service and quality focus.
