In this position, you will identify improvement opportunities, remove organizational barriers, and lead Lean Sigma initiatives to eliminate non-value-added activities and create maximum value for our customers. You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve site layouts and process flows, mentor team members in Lean principles, and ensure sustainable results and metrics tracking across all continuous improvement projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop an in-depth understanding of Lean Sigma philosophy and methods as demonstrated by successful training and certification in these areas.\n\nAnalyze and identify project opportunities that eliminate non-value-added activities and create value for customers.\n\nDrive site layout and process flow improvements to enhance operational efficiency.\n\nIdentify and remove organizational barriers to support the continuous improvement process.\n\nUse Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to measure lean progress and evaluate process efficiency.\n\nDrive changes to traditional business methods and bring breakthrough operational improvements.\n\nMotivate team members to accept process changes and take ownership of new workflows.\n\nTrain, educate, and mentor individuals across the organization on Lean and Sigma principles.\n\nDrive the sharing of best practices across the site and business unit to ensure sustainable results.\n\nTrack project metrics and perform other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.\n\n 5+ years of manufacturing experience (technical and/or manufacturing operations).\n\nProven leadership, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.\n\nHigh passion for excellence combined with strong execution for action.\n\nExcellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to effectively drive change.\n\nStrong analytical capabilities and a robust statistical background.\n\nEffective oral and written communication skills with the ability to concisely present complex topics.\n\nEffective interpersonal skills with proven capability in dealing with people across various levels and functions.\n\nStrict and rigorous analytical thinking skills.\n\nSolid understanding of business issues, operational metrics, and customer value creation.\n\nEffective written English skills and fundamental oral English communication ability.\n\n Avery Dennison is an equal opportunity employer.
