Learn more at www.averydennison.com\n About the role The Operations MIS - Data Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting operational data to support decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. This role focuses on extracting and transforming data, creating operational dashboards, tracking key performance metrics, and automating recurring reporting workflows.\nKey Responsibilities\nWork model: On-site\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and operational dashboards.\n\nExtract, transform, and analyze operational data from various systems and databases.\n\nTrack and analyze key operational metrics to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimization.\n\nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and reporting platforms.\n\nAutomate recurring reporting processes using advanced Excel functions, VBA/Macros, or basic scripting to maximize efficiency.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Operations, IT, and Finance teams to satisfy data needs and resolve data issues.\n\nPrepare clear business presentations and executive summaries highlighting operational performance.\n\nAssist in the implementation and testing of new operational software or database upgrades.\n\n Minimum Qualifications:\n Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.\n\n3-4 years of proven experience in an MIS, Data Analyst, or Operations Reporting role.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, and Macros/VBA).\n\n· Hands-on experience with Data Visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.\n\n· Familiarity with SQL for database querying and data extraction is highly preferred.\n\n· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.\n\n· Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.\n\n· Excellent communication and presentation skills.\n\nPreferred Skills:\nProject Management Skills\n\nStrong problem-solving and team management skills.\n\nClear under standing of A3, CAPEX & OPEX\n\n All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion,\nsex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status or other\nprotected status.
