This may include loading/unloading of trailers, movement of raw/finished materials, work in process, and shipping finished goods. This role will be on B Shift, 3:00P-11:00P, Monday to Friday.\nPrimary Job Duties and Responsibilities:\nActivities and duties may vary depending upon specific needs. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:\nMove material to raw, WIP, Finished, Shipping, Receiving, and manufacturing areas.\n\nUnload/load trucks/tankers with incoming/outgoing materials. - Verify materials against receiving/shipping documents.\n\nComplete appropriate transactions to document the movement of material within the Inventory Management System.\n\nSupport inventory accuracy:\nComplete warehouse and rack inventories.\n\nHelp manage department cycle counts and correct discrepancies.\n\nWorking on the dock supporting the high volume of inbound and outbound.\n\nProcess outbound shipments and verify proper quantities of pallets.\n\nCoordinate with the team what materials need to be loaded and when to meet dispatch cut times.\n\nCommunication with the Finishing Team on orders needed to meet dispatch time requirements.\n\nSupport the 5-S, housekeeping, and recycling programs.\n\nHelp reduce manufacturing waste and process complexity.\n\nSupport the site “0 is Achievable” goal.\n\nSupport communication/relationship with the Finishing/Coating and Shipping/Receiving teams.\n\n Minimum Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.\n\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\n\nGood organizational and customer service skills.\n\nHave general working knowledge and be able to work with computers and programs (Oracle, Telnet, OTM, Google Docs, Lotus Notes).\n\nPositive past performance reviews desired.\n\nMust regard safety as a core value; must adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures.\n\nMust be able to actively contribute in a team based environment, encourage open communication and positive interaction with peers and management to effectively reach a common goal.\n\nMust have a service and quality focus, be able to address issues effectively when problems arise, and take initiative to understand the root cause.\n\nMust have demonstrated a record of flexibility and dependability in order to support production and customer focus.\n\nMust be able to follow written and oral instruction.\n\nTime Management skills and ability to work independently.\n\nMust have a valid fork-lift license.\n\nPreferred Requirements:\n3-5 years of experience in manufacturing in a similar production environment.\n\nStrong Oracle usage and understanding.\n\nTrack record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nProject Management and Time Management skills.\n\nTrack record of implementing Lean manufacturing processes.\n\n All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or other protected status.
