This individual will lead the development and implementation of new Heat Transfer technologies, materials, and processes, based on internal requests from the Commercial, platform/operation and innovation team while maintaining a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE 工作职责:\nTechnical Leadership:\nLead the research, development, and implementation of new labeling technologies, materials, and processes.\nStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, production) to ensure alignment and successful product launches.\nProject Management:\nManage technical development projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.\nDefine project scope, objectives, and deliverables.\nCoordinate internal and external resources to achieve project goals.\nQuality Assurance:\nEstablish and maintain quality control standards for labeling products and processes.\nConduct testing and analysis to ensure product performance and compliance.\nImplement corrective actions to address quality issues.\nSustainability:\nDrive the development and adoption of sustainable labeling solutions.\nEvaluate the environmental impact of labeling materials and processes.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce waste and improve resource efficiency.\nCustomer Support:\nProvide technical expertise and support to Commercial teams.\nTroubleshoot labeling issues and provide solutions (when this is a product issue not a quality issue)\nCollaborate with sales teams to develop custom labeling solutions.\nTeam Management:\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of technical professionals.\nFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nOther tasks assigned by supervisor.\n Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience in technical development within the textile or labeling industry.\nProven track record of successful product development and commercialization.\nStrong understanding of labeling technologies, materials, and processes.\nExperience with quality control and testing procedures.\nExcellent project management skills.\nAbility to lead and motivate a team.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAdditional Desirable Skills:\nKnowledge of sustainability principles and practices.\nExperience with regulatory compliance in the textile industry.\nFamiliarity with textile printing and finishing technologies.\n AVERY DENNISON IS AN EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY PROVIDER\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status or other protected status.
