In this role, you willbe responsible fordesigning, building, andmaintainingscalable data pipelines and architectures that enable advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI agent development.\nYou will work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and optimized for both analytics and operational use cases.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, andmaintainrobust, scalable data pipelines\nBuild and manage data architectures and data models\nEnsure data quality, governance, and security standards\nCollaborate with Data Scientists and AI Engineers\nOptimizedata processing for performance and cost-efficiency\nIntegrate multiple data sources\nDevelop workflows using Microsoft tools (Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory)\nDesign end-to-end solutions within Microsoft ecosystem\nImplement best practices for data engineering and version control\nSupport AI agents and automation workflows\nEssential Requirements\n5+ years of experience in Data Engineering\nStrong Python and SQL skills\nExperience with Spark/Databricks\nExperience in ETL/ELT pipelines\nStrong Azure experience\nDatabricks Unity Catalog experience (governance, access control)\nExperience with Power Automate or similar tools\nStrong data modeling and warehousing knowledge\nGit and CI/CD experience\nDesirable:\nMaster’s or Ph.D. in Data, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. \nExperience with Lakehouse architecture\nMLOpsfamiliarity\nStrong Unity Catalog governance practices\nKnowledge of data governance frameworks\nExperience with streaming technologies\nExposure to AI/GenAI or agent-based systems\nMicrosoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI)\nIT at AVEVA\nOur global team of 300+ IT professionals is responsible for the systems and platforms that keep AVEVA running.
