In this role, you will shape the front-end experience across partner portals, customer portals, and AI-augmented applications. You will create polished, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces, build reusable component libraries, and help deliver digital experiences that are intuitive, consistent, and valuable for AVEVA’s customers and partners.\nKey responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain Angular-based front-end applications for partner and customer portal capabilities.\n\nDevelop and maintain shared component libraries and design systems for consistent user experiences.\n\nImplement AI-assisted UX patterns such as conversational interfaces, intelligent forms, progressive disclosure, and real-time feedback.\n\nEnsure responsive, accessible, and performant front-end delivery across browsers and devices.\n\nCollaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to integrate interfaces with APIs, MCP services, and search endpoints.\n\nEssential requirements\nExpert-level Angular knowledge, including standalone components, signals, state management, and reactive patterns.\n\nAdvanced TypeScript / JavaScript skills, with strong HTML5 and CSS3 / SCSS experience.\n\nExperience building responsive layouts and consuming RESTful APIs from front-end applications.\n\nSolid understanding of web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1.\n\n4-6 years of professional front-end development experience with a strong Angular focus.\n\nDesired skills\nExperience with front-end testing frameworks, design systems, component libraries, and modern bundling tools.\n\nFamiliarity with micro-frontends, i18n / l10n, AI or chatbot UI patterns, and data visualisation libraries.\n\nCuriosity and aspiration to stay current with the Angular ecosystem and emerging front-end technologies.\n\nStrong attention to detail, user-first thinking, creativity, and the ability to build trust through collaborative delivery.\n\nAdditional proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage, as the role may involve supporting stakeholders and business activities in Mandarin-speaking markets.\n\nIT at AVEVA\nOur global team of 300+ IT professionals is responsible for the systems and platforms that keep AVEVA running.
