This role focuses on engineering scalable, automated IAM services for workforce identities, using SailPoint as the enterprise Identity Governance (IGA) platform and CyberArk as PAM.\nThe successful candidate will be expected to reduce manual IAM operations, automate identity lifecycle processes, and build repeatable, code-driven solutions for access management in a complex hybrid environment.\nYou will work closely with Security, Infrastructure, HR, and Service Management teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and secure identity services.\nKey Responsibilities\nEngineer and operate automated IAM solutions for workforce identities\nSupport and enhance SailPoint with a focus on automation, scalability, and governance\nDesign, implement, and optimise automated Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes\nAutomate IAM access request fulfilment via ServiceNow.\nDevelop code-driven workflows and integrations to eliminate manual IAM tasks\nSupport and maintain Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) environments\nManage authentication, authorisation, roles, and entitlements\nAutomate access certifications, reviews, and compliance reporting\nRespond to IAM-related incidents with a focus on root cause fixes through automation\nProduce and maintain documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks\nCollaborate with Security teams to strengthen identity controls\nLeverage scripting and AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and reporting\nEssential Skills and Experience\nHands-on experience in Identity & Access Management engineering\nHands-on SailPoint experience is required (IdentityIQ, IdentityNow, or similar)\nHands-on CyberArk experienced is required\nStrong experience engineering automated identity lifecycle processes\nExperience automating IAM workflows using PowerShell, APIs, or orchestration tools\nSolid understanding of SSO and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, LDAP)\nExperience supporting Active Directory and Entra ID in hybrid environments\nExperience producing automated reports for audit and compliance\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills\nDesirable Skills and Experience\nExperience working with ServiceNow and/or Jira for workflow automation or integrations\nExposure to broader information security or identity security domains\nFamiliarity with DevOps or CI/CD environments, including identity controls\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience\nRelevant IAM or security certifications (e.g. SailPoint, Microsoft Identity)\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nCustomer-focused mindset, delivering secure and user-friendly IAM services\nGrowth mindset, passionate about learning new tools and technologies\nAbility to work independently while contributing to a global team\nFind out more: https://www.aveva.com/en/about/careers/\nUK Benefits include:\nFlexible benefits fund, emergency leave days, adoption leave, 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), pension, life cover, private medical insurance, parental leave, education assistance program.\nIt’s possible we’re hiring for this position in multiple countries, in which case the above benefits apply to the primary location.
