This includes effectively managing the relationship between Oracle’s strategic roadmap and Aveva’s Finance digital transformation priorities. The role oversees the implementation of solution enhancements, and automation, ensuring delivery against defined timelines and defined value realisation. The role ensures that Oracle solutions enable efficient, scalable, secure and compliant business operations while supporting, financial reporting, business transformation, and future growth objectives.\nThe role requires close partnership with Finance Global Process Ownership, IT ERP Ops, Security, Internal Control, Enterprise Architecture, and senior finance leaders to maximise the value of Oracle investments and ensure alignment with finance’s priorities.\nKey responsibilities\nEstablish and maintain effective partnership with Oracle, being at the forefront of their innovation roadmap, product developments, and releases.\nEvaluate emerging Oracle capabilities and identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, analytics, and reporting.\nDevelop and execute the enterprise Oracle systems strategy aligned with AVEVA's business and technology roadmap.\nDevelop Oracle solution roadmaps that maximise return on investment from Oracle technologies.\nOwn the Oracle solutions including, Financials, Procurement, Projects, Revenue Management, EPM capabilities, and associated integrated solutions.\nDrive Oracle transformation initiatives, migrations, and strategic technology programmes, ensuring associated finance change management and adoption.\nDrive Oracle implementation projects, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, budget, quality, and business outcomes.\nEstablish and maintain effective governance processes for Oracle enhancements, releases, and change management.\nPartner with Finance leadership and Process Owners to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle solutions.\nSupport IT vendor management activities across Oracle environments.\nEnsure solution enhancement compliance with SOX controls, audit requirements, security standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to ensure aligned technology strategies.\nSupport internal and external audit activities relating to Oracle systems and associated technology controls.\nEssential requirements\nExtensive experience leading Oracle ERP and enterprise application environments within large multinational organisations.\nDeep understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EPM capabilities, and implementation methodologies.\nExperience delivering large-scale Oracle transformation and migration programmes.\nStrong knowledge of finance business processes and wider enterprise systems architecture.\nUnderstanding of SOX, PCAOB, ITGC, and regulatory compliance requirements.\nDesired skills\nStrong organisational and leadership skills\nExcellent stakeholder management skills\nCollaborative approach, with strong multi-cultural empathy\nExcellent communication, both written and verbal\nPositive attitude and comfortable managing ambiguity and conflicting priorities\nConfident, motivated self-starter\nHigh professional ethics and commitment to improving risk and control culture\nResults-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.\nStrong decision-making capability under pressure.\nFinance at AVEVA\nOur team of almost 500 Finance professionals are central to AVEVA’s £1bn+ business.
