The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, and RESTful Web APIs, along with hands-on experience or understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable MES solutions supporting manufacturing processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework/Core, and Web APIs\n\nCreate and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database schemas\n\nImplement responsive and interactive front-end components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS\n\nIntegrate with external systems (e.g., SAP, PLCs, SCADA) as part of MES architecture\n\nParticipate in requirements gathering, system design, and code reviews\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve application issues in manufacturing environments\n\nCollaborate with process engineers and production teams to understand MES requirements\n\nEnsure best practices in coding, security, and system performance\n\nMaintain detailed technical documentation\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field\n\n3+ years of hands-on experience in C#, .NET, and Web API development\n\nProficient in MS SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning\n\nStrong experience in JavaScript and front-end development\n\nExperience or exposure to MES systems (e.g., Aveva/Wonderware, Rockwell FT, Siemens Opcenter, etc.)\n\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop floor integration\n\nFamiliarity with OPC, PLC communication, and industrial data protocols is a plus\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills\n\nKnowledge of Github Copilot, Azure DevOps, Source code and release management through branching.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in pharmaceutical, food & beverage, or discrete manufacturing industries\n\nKnowledge of ISA-95, 21 CFR Part 11, or GMP compliance\n\nExperience with reporting tools, dashboards, or historian systems\n\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies\n\nServices at AVEVA\nOur dynamic global team of 700+ engineers, developers, consultants, solution architects and project managers are at the forefront of delivering AVEVA cutting-edge solutions to customers.
