The engineer will work as part of larger project teams and complete assignments to deliver the final solution to meet the needs of the customer. This work will include design documentation, implementation, testing, customertrainingand site commissioning.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, configuration, and implementation of pipeline simulation solutions using AVEVA’s Pipeline Integrity Monitor modeling application.\n\nDevelopment of project documentation including the Functional Design Specification, Acceptance Test Procedures, and custom user documentation.\n\nParticipate as a member of a larger team in project implementation and delivery to customers.\n\nWork directly with customers to understandcustomer’sneeds and requirements.\n\nTravel to client sites will berequired(approximately 25%).\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree (minimum) in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Petroleum Engineering.\n\nCompleted coursework in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics\n\nBasic understanding of project lifecycle and execution methodologies\n\n0-3 years of experience in oil and gas pipeline transportation or related industry\n\nBasic experience or familiarity with software applications and/or modeling tools\n\nDesired skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey technical information\n\nEffective team player with the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary or cross-functional teams\n\nLogical and analytical problem-solving skills\n\nSelf-motivated and dependable, with the ability to take ownership of assigned work\n\nDemonstrated willingness to learn\n\nConfident presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences\n\nExperience in programming, such as C++ or Fortran\n\nKnowledge of basic computer networking concepts\n\nProficiency in a secondary language is a plus\n\nFamiliarity with pipeline simulation software or related engineering tools\n\nServices at AVEVA\nOur dynamic global team of 700+ engineers, developers, consultants, solutionarchitectsand project managers are at the forefront of delivering AVEVAcutting-edgesolutions to customers.
