They will work largely independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments; and will collaborate with a team for overall success of deliverables. They will be responsible fordesign, coding, testingand delivery on moderate complexity features.\nKey responsibilities\nDesign, develop and implement AVEVA solutions on Microsoft Azure\n\nContinuously evaluate and validate system design and architecture with risk analysis and the creation of mitigation strategies.\n\nRecognizing, articulating, and making technical decisions / trade-offs around multiple dimensions (scaling, reliability, performance, maintenance, etc.) that have an impact on your team.\n\nDesign, develop and implement automated tests on Microsoft Azure\n\nPerform advanced test case design analysis beyond the obvious functionality described\n\nEnsure deep understanding of the product and plan comprehensive test coverage\n\nDemonstrate sound decision making on work to be sure it is delivered in a timely manner\n\nDesired experience\nFrom most to least important:\nBachelorsin computer scienceand experience in designing and developing Microsoft Azure,C#/.NET technologies, Full stack\n\nExcellent analytical skills, open, proactive, results oriented, self-organized, and self-motivated\n\nLearns new skills through a balance of self-education, internal training and mentoring\n\nDemonstrates optimal speed of execution for routine assignments\n\nHave followed Agile and scrum methodologies\n\nKnowledge on Testing methodologies and defect tracking\n\nComfortable using modern AI-assisted software development tools and working in an agentic development environment.\n\nExperience using AI tools across the software development lifecycle-including design, programming, testing, debugging, validation, and documentation-is preferred.\n\nApproximately one year of experience with AI-assisted software development is desirable, but equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.\n\nExperience customizing or extending AI development tools-for example, through reusable skills, prompts, workflows, agent configuration, tool integrations, or other methods-is a plus.\n\nCandidates should be able to demonstrate sound judgment when reviewing AI-generated output, including how they verify results, identify errors, test assumptions, and maintain code quality and security.\n\nGreat skills to have\nOrganization: The pace at AVEVA can be exciting and fast, so whilst you will need excellent time management and effective prioritization, we will do all we can to support a balanced portfolio of work, and your wellbeing.\n\nQuality Software: You are passionate about delivering software that is reliable, performant and scales well\n\nProblem-solving: You’ll need to enjoy getting stuck into problems.
