We believe that success starts with a sound team and that an inclusive and diverse workplace moves us all forward.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\n\nThe Onsite Maintenance Engineer will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.\nDay-To-Day Responsibilities:\nSetup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs\nPerform preventative maintenance task to help maintain customer spaces including, but not limited to: testing/repairing cables, testing/repairing various hardware components\nField installation of control programs (AMX / Crestron/Firmware) - upload and download capability\nDeliver field service support of control programs (AMX / Crestron/etc.) - minor edits (could be with the aid of a programmer), compile, upload and download capability\nPerform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: meeting support, general break-fix maintenance, video/audio recording support\nProvide field service support of networked devices\nCollaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL\nUnderstand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties\nProvide job site documentation and end user training and as needed\nSetup and troubleshoot various audio/video/presentation systems\nTravel to various job sites as required\nMust be flexible to work after hours and weekends when required\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nMust-Haves:\nEffectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues.\nAbility to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.\nAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines.\nAdvanced computer knowledge (WIN/Mac).\nKnowledge of signal flow for audio, video, and control.\nValid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standard.\nMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.\nMust be flexible to work after hours and weekends when required.\nAbility to regularly climb and work from ladders, lifting equipment, tools, and materials.\nWhite Glove Service: Demonstrated ability to provide high-level support to director-level executives and above in a corporate setting, ensuring smooth and professional AV experiences.\nProblem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills across various AV and networking systems, ensuring quick resolution of technical issues.\nCustomer Service: Committed to delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting the needs of corporate clients and stakeholders.\nLogitech: Proficient in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting Logitech systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.\nExtron Systems : Extensive experience with deployments, integration, and troubleshooting of Extron NAV and associated S/W.\nCrestron Systems: Proficient in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting Crestron systems, ensuring reliable connectivity\nNetworking: Skilled in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting networked devices, with experience in LAN/WAN and VLans.\nQ-SYS, Logitech, Biamp, Extron NAV experience\nUC Platforms - Teams, Zoom, Webex\nTricaster switcher, 3-4 PTZ Cameras, Audio console, and DMX Lighting\nVideo wall experience (Planar, Christie, Barco, Samsung, Daktronics)\nPreventive Maintenance \nMS Teams Admin ( Primary )\nZoom Cloud Admin ( Secondary )\nCTS\nNice-To-Haves:\nFormal education in Electronics or related field preferred\nPreferred external training:\nAMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionals\nExtron AV Associate Certification\nDante 1-3\nQ-SYS 1+\nWHY YOU’LL LIKE WORKING HERE\n\nMedical benefits, including vision and dental\nPaid holidays, sick days, and personal days\nEnjoyable and dynamic company culture\nTraining and professional development opportunities\nMORE ABOUT US\n\nAVI-SPL is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
