This position will also provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments as well as establish goals and plans that meet project objectives. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager to provide documented test result from system testing and commissioning.\nDay-To-Day Responsibilities:\nRead and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints\nTest point-to-point functionality of systems\nReview project Scope of Work (SOW) to ensure quality and completeness of installation\nTest integrated systems and perform troubleshooting for AMX/Crestron and DSP systems\nField installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload and download capability\nWrite code for DSP systems\nMake minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer\nFine tune audio video systems to ensure optimal performance\nConfigure IP addressable devices to establish communication on a network\nPerform client training and final job documentation as needed\nAct as a customer liaison in absence of Project Manager\nCreate, track, and complete a project Punchlist\nAbility to travel to various job sites, EMEA wide based projects. \nPerform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Must-Haves:\nCommunicate and interact with internal employees, clients, and colleagues in a professional and timely manner\nProven business writing skills\nProficient with test and calibration equipment\nSupport user acceptance testing\nMinor programming capability (AMX/Crestron) - changes and troubleshooting\nAbility to diagnose complex system problems\nKnowledge of Advanced signal flow for audio, video, and control\nUnderstand IP networking\nAdvanced PC proficiency\nEffective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues\nExcellent multitasking capabilities while adapting to changing priorities\nAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines\nSolid organizational skills and excellent attention to detail\nMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent\nNice-To-Haves:\nFormal education in Electronics or related field preferred\nMinimum 5 years of AV Installation experience preferred\nA four-year degree or military experience may be considered in place of job experience\nExperience with Enterprise VC solutions (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Bluejeans, Cisco Telepresence, etc.) both hardware and software\nAVIXA General CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) is preferred\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nFrequent standing, walking, and physical activity.\nRegular bending, kneeling, and reaching.\nClimbing, overhead work, and working at heights.\nUse of tools and equipment as required.\nFrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\nHeavier lifting may require assistance or mechanical support.\nWarehouse, field, or construction environments.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.\nWhy work for AVI-SPL (what’s in it for you)\nAs we have already mentioned, AVI-SPL are the global leaders when it comes to universal communications, and we make sure our work environment matches our status.
