Our success starts with our people; and a workplace that champions culture and belonging ensures we grow and thrive together.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nProvide leadership, vision, and management to the local engineering, programming, and CAD teams and act as strategic business member of the leadership team\nDay-To-Day Responsibilities:\nBuild and lead an agile and responsive team responsible for any and all engineering, \nprogramming, and CAD inquires\nDevelops and drive a culture of performance management and accountability\nManage and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members\nMentors and is engaged in the personal development of the engineering team to ensure ongoing growth of technical organizational and management skills.\nRegularly communicates by using but not limited to, daily huddles with the engineering team to ensure consistency and to ensure timely and accurate completion of engineering tasks.\nLeads the engineering team with a positive attitude that is in alignment with teamwork, mission, and vision and values of the organization.\nPlans and implements engineering programs, including defining project philosophy, activities, milestones, and staff requirements in accordance with customer requirements.\nAssist in establishing departmental goals, objectives an operating procedure\nFrequent spot checks of teams work to ensure accuracy and adherence to all company standards.\nCall and run lessons learned meetings as necessary.\nReview pre-construction design and documentation\nAssist with technical design, pricing as needed\nCustomer liaison for engineering inquires\nMeet with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate products\nPost sales project consultation\nReview project designs created by internal and external resources\nReview hour estimation for work based on needs analysis, scope of work and bid requirements\nIdentify special requirements for project, including but not limited to: test equipment, specialized tools, rigging support\nProvide feedback to corporate and development management on process improvement opportunities and facilitate process improvement.\nReview / test audio DSP as required to ensure proper functionality as specified\nMonitor and ensure labor expenditures do not exceed department budget\nManage internal activities that support client training\nManage or facilitate field testing of integrated systems and training client on use\nRemain abreast of A/V advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization Translate customer requirements into functional system designs\nCreate and maintain technical documentation in accordance with company guidelines\nContribute to improving process workflows and maintaining system administration\nMaintain scheduling and resources for the department\nTravel to various job sites required \nPerform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nMust-Haves:\nProven ability to significantly contribute toward or lead operation initiatives with a results\noriented approach\nDemonstrated leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nProven ability to mentor, educate, and develop members of the team\nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization\nAbility to motivate and effectively lead large project teams comprised of technical, administrative, and engineering personnel toward a common goal\nAbility to direct a team towards a cohesive set of strategic objectives and maintain efficient timelines in the completion of tasks\nUnderstanding of construction project management applied to audiovisual projects\nAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines\nMust have clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally\nDemonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills\nAbility to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints\nMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.\nAt least 10 years of A/V experience\nDemonstrated leadership and management skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nExcellent PC skills, proficient in Microsoft applications including Microsoft Project\nExperience with planning, implementing and managing the activities of an engineering workforce through recruiting, training, scheduling and best practices techniques\nEmployees operating company or personal vehicles for business purposes must be legally authorized to drive, maintain a valid driver’s license and provide proof of coverage, meeting all minimum required insurance coverage as a condition of employment.\nEmployees driving fleet vehicles must meet eligibility requirements;
