We believe that success starts with a sound team and that an inclusive and diverse workplace moves us all forward.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nThe Onsite Audio Visual Maintenance Technician will work in partnership with the Customer, management team, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.\nDay-To-Day Responsibilities:\nSetup and breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs\nPerform preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain customer spaces including but not limited to: ensuring that all technology works as designed and testing/repairing various hardware components\nClean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans.\nResponsible for job site documentation and providing client training on the AV Technology as needed\nPerform support tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: meeting support, installing non-complex AV components, and video/audio recording support where applicable\nCollaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL\nUnderstand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties\nSetup, operate and troubleshoot various audio/video systems\nTravel to various job sites as required. \nItems to Consider:\nAVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary.This position will involve the covereage of at least (2) sites.\n\nWork hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.\nThis position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nMust-Haves:\nAbility to effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues\nAbility to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner including soldering & crimping connectors\nAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines\nIntermediate computer knowledge\nKnowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control\nValid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.\nMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of 1 - 3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred\nNice-To-Haves:\nFormal education in Electronics or related field preferred\nPreferred external training:AMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionals\nCrestron Professional Installation\nExton AV Associate Certification\nAVIXA Quick Start to the Audio-Visual Industry\nAVIXA CTS General Certification\n\nWHY YOU’LL LIKE WORKING HERE\n\nMedical benefits, including vision and dental\nPaid holidays, sick days, and personal days\nEnjoyable and dynamic company culture\nTraining and professional development opportunities\nMORE ABOUT US\n\nAVI-SPL is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
