Our success starts with our people; and a workplace that champions culture and belonging ensures we grow and thrive together.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nAs a Project Manager, you will be overseeing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific AV systems integration projects. In addition, the Project Manager will ensure projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements. You will be responsible for coordinating all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of the project, according to established AVI-SPL Project Management process and procedures.\nDay-To-Day Responsibilities:\nLearn and comply with all AVI-SPL standard process and procedures within the AVI-SPL Operations Playbook, utilizing tools approved and provided by AVI-SPL.\nBe a subject matter expert with contract documents for each assigned project including, but not limited to project scopes of work, bid drawings and specifications, contract, subcontractor scopes of work, and construction schedules.\nFacilitate internal and external Project Kickoff meeting among Sales, Engineering, Programming, Fabrication & Installation, Customer resources and Third-Party resources.\nIdentify and manage project risk, resolving all project related issues with team or through escalation to management.\nCreate and manage comprehensive project schedules and coordinate/verify appropriate resource scheduling for all required project tasks.\nFacilitate project material / equipment orders.\nManage all project (equipment, labor, miscellaneous, direct, etc.) expenditures based on project budget throughout the project lifecycle, identify problem areas, spearhead resolution and communicate any issues impacting profitability to management.\nProvide and review status/progress reporting of all projects internally and externally. Raise any issues to management at this time for escalation.\nManage and verify quality of work performed by internal and/or subcontracted resources.\nRaise awareness immediately to management regarding potential claims or back charges or any large costs that will affect AVI-SPL financially.\nEnsure that any scope, schedule, cost or change of terms are handled in accordance with established AVI-SPL change order procedures.\nGather and supply AVI-SPL Service teams with applicable close-out documentation.\nMaintain and develop strong relationship with customers with direct interaction with focus on improving customers’ perception of on-time delivery, quality, communication, responsiveness and problem solving.\nRespond to communications from customers regarding problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner.\nSteer project results to satisfy customer requirements to obtain AVI-SPL Net Promoter Score goals.\nTravel to various job sites as required. \nPerform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nMust-Haves:\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related industry.\nProven project management and team leadership experience.\nDemonstrated management of multiple projects using sound time management skills with an exceptional eye for detail.\nEffective communication and interaction skills.\nCreative problem solving and investigation skills to identify complex problems and generate solutions.\nUnderstanding of all revenue, budget, margin and financial variance factors of assigned projects.\nDemonstrated experience managing projects in the Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related industry.\nDemonstrated knowledge of technical, contractual and construction documents.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MSProject schedule software\nEmployees operating company or personal vehicles for business purposes must be legally authorized to drive, maintain a valid driver’s license and provide proof of coverage, meeting all minimum required insurance coverage as a condition of employment.\nEmployees driving fleet vehicles must meet eligibility requirements; comply with all guidelines, including telematics monitoring, vehicle maintenance schedules, proper use of assigned fuel and toll devices.\nNice-To-Haves:\nComprehension of AV system functionality and installation processes and techniques.\nFormal education in Audio Visual, Construction, Technology or related field.\nMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nCombination of sitting, standing, and walking.\nFrequent verbal communication and presentations.\nFrequent use of computers and mobile devices.\nTravel may be required.\nOccasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.\nOffice and client-site environments.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.\nWHY YOU’LL LIKE WORKING HERE\nMedical benefits, including vision and dental\nPaid holidays and PTO\nEnjoyable and dynamic company culture\nTraining and professional development opportunities\nMORE ABOUT US\nAVI-SPL is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
