We believe that success starts with a strong team and that an inclusive and diverse workplace moves us all forward.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nThe Senior Onsite AV Technician is responsible for the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of audiovisual and video conferencing services across London client sites. Acting as a senior technical resource and escalation point, the role ensures the highest standards of service delivery, operational excellence, and customer experience while supporting business-critical meetings, executive events, and collaboration technologies.\nDay-To-Day Responsibilities:\nLead the delivery of AV and video conferencing services across client London sites, ensuring all systems operate reliably and efficiently.\nAct as a senior technical escalation point for complex AV, VC, and collaboration technology incidents.\nConfigure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support AV and video conferencing equipment and associated infrastructure.\nProvide high-touch support to executives, client stakeholders, and external visitors, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.\nOversee the setup, operation, and support of meetings, presentations, town halls, and large-scale events.\nSupport events ranging from standard meeting room bookings through to auditoriums, all-hands meetings, and executive broadcasts.\nEnsure proactive monitoring of AV and VC environments, identifying risks and service improvements before issues impact users.\nMaintain accurate documentation, event records, operational procedures, and technical standards.\nDrive consistency in service delivery through process adherence, governance, and quality assurance activities.\nMentor and support other technicians through knowledge sharing, coaching, and cross-training initiatives.\nWork closely with Service Desk, Engineering, Facilities, and third-party vendors to resolve issues and improve service outcomes.\nContribute to project delivery, technology rollouts, room upgrades, and service improvement initiatives.\nEnsure all services are delivered in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client expectations.\nProvide flexibility to support business-critical events outside standard business hours when required.\nOther duties assigned as needed\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nSkills and Abilities:\nHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.\nProven experience supporting AV and collaboration technologies within a corporate enterprise environment.\nExcellent customer service and stakeholder management skills, including experience supporting senior executives and leadership teams.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients, vendors, facilities teams, and senior management.\nAbility to lead by example and promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem resolution.\nAbility to remain calm under pressure and manage high-profile or time-critical incidents effectively.\nHigh standard of attention to detail with a commitment to quality and service excellence.\nReliable, professional, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.\nCommitment to ongoing professional development and technical training.\nWorking Hours\n40-hour working week between 07:00 and 19:00, Monday to Friday.\nWork schedules may vary to support business requirements and service coverage.\nFlexibility may be required to provide operational support across multiple sites and events.\nOvertime\nOccasional evening, weekend, and Bank Holiday support may be required to support business-critical meetings, projects, and events.\nApproved overtime must be accurately recorded and submitted in accordance with company procedures.\nAs we have already mentioned, AVI-SPL are the global leaders when it comes to universal communications, and we make sure our work environment matches our status.
