Essential Duties and Responsibilities\nRead and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints\nPerform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client-based system\nClean various AV equipment including but not limited to: camera lenses monitors and equipment fans\nTake responsibility to accurately complete job documentation as needed\nField installation of control programs (AMX / Crestron/Firmware) - upload and download capability\nField service support of networked devices (Routers IP Protocols etc.)\nPerform service tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to: pulling cable installing connectors mounting projectors and hanging ceiling mounts\nProvide necessary training and support for next level service technicians\nProvide end-user client training as needed\nAdhere to and understand health and safety standards for all phases of the job\nSetup and troubleshoot various video codecs/video teleconferencing systems\nTravel to various job sites requiredOther duties assigned as neededSkills and Abilities\nEffectively communicate with employees customers and colleagues\nAbility to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner\nAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines\nBasic computer knowledge\nKnowledge of basic signal flow for audio video and control\nAbility to manage small to medium projects\nAbility to solder & crimp connectors\nValid Driver’s License and a clean Driver's Abstract that meets AVI-SPL driving standardsEducation and/or Experience\nMinimum of 1 - 3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred\nFormal education in Electronics or related field preferred\nMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred\nPreferred external training: o Avixa (InfoComm) Quick Start to the Audio-Visual Industryo Avixa (InfoComm) CTS General Certificationo AMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionalso Crestron Professional Installationo Extron AV Associate Certification\nCompensation\nPay Type\nMin Base\nMax Base\nSalary\nCAD $60,000.00\nCAD $85,000.00\nActual compensation will be determined based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.\nWorking Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
