This position also functions as the primary liaison to resolve quality issues and ensure appropriate flow down of quality requirements.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssists with revision proposals for PMA Quality Manual, PMA Supplier Manual, and related STC/PMA procedures/standards.\nPerforms conformity inspections in support of issuance of 8130-3 certifications.\nManages receipt and delivery of production runs from suppliers.\nManages delivery of PMA and STC products to customers.\nTakes an active role to ensure Environmental Health and Safety standards and procedures are followed.\nMonitors and self-audits proper execution of PMA Quality system and processes.\nAdministers PMA Supplier approvals.\nAudits commodity and service suppliers (either physical audit or assessment of 3rd party credentials).\nManages Approved Supplier Listing (ASL).\nInitiates supplier corrective action requests in response to discrepancies.\nPerforms contract reviews for new suppliers or products by reviewing purchase orders and any other documentation to ensure delivered products meet or exceed established expectations.\nPrepares malfunction and defect reports for submission to FAA.\nActive member of Material Review Board (MRB).\nInvestigates PMA/STC-related deficiencies and initiates corrective actions by ATS management personnel.\nProvides guidance to ATS personnel on PMA and STC requirements.\nTravels to supplier locations to facilitate quality audits and source inspections.\nActively supports SMS policies and procedures.\nEnsures that all regulatory and customer requirements are met.\nAccountable for inventory management processes to include but not limited to: receiving, cycle counts, and shipping of PMA and STC inventory where required.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nDegree from a technical school in a related field preferred.\nMinimum of four (4) years of current experience in aviation-related quality or manufacturing, or equivalent combination of education and experience. \nForklift certification required (must obtain certification within 60 days of hire).\nValid driver’s license required.\nPHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: \nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\n\nRoad and air travel will be required throughout the US.\nCompensation\nThe full base pay range for this position is $36.00 – $53.00 hourly, not including bonuses or benefits. Your pay will be based on your experience, skills, and education, as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise, while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge.
