As our Sr. Research Associate, you'll have the opportunity to focus on developing Cell-based, ELISA, HPLC, CE, PCR and/or SDS-PAGE methods, and you'll work alongside experienced analytical scientists and process development scientists to identify and characterize protein biologics. Apply now and take your career to the next level!\nKey Responsibilities: \nPerform and review routine wet chemistry assays and ELISA/cell-based immunoassays, electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE/IEF) and HPLC.\nMay train/supervise the experimental work of more junior analysts and may be a member of interdepartmental/tech transfer teams.\nDevelop, review, revise and write test methods, standard operating procedures and may perform trending analysis.\nMay be designated as study lead for validation projects, investigations, and method development projects.\nPrevious experience in either HPLC/CE or Potency/ELISA assay methodologies is required.\nKnowledgeable of company cGMPs as well as industry regulations that apply to job functions. Participates in regulatory inspections.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n4+ years industry experience working in a QC or Analytical lab (with a BS degree) preferably Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology or pharmaceutical sciences\n2+ years industry experience working in a QC or Analytical lab (with a MS degree)\nAnalytical testing and equipment utilizing analytical biochemistry methods\nWriting reports/procedures/specifications\nGMPs and regulatory audits\nPotency/ELISA and/or HPLC experience is essential.\nShould also have experience with most if not all the following: protein characterization, electrophoresis, chromatography, and assay validation/qualification.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Octet, liquid handler and Maurice is a plus!\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\nThis role is a full-time position operating Monday through Friday, unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. Any scientific staff member can expect to work overtime, including during the weekends. Off-site meetings with clients and regulatory agencies are a usual occurrence.\nCompensation:\nWe offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.\nThe compensation range for this role is $84,000 - $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
