Avid Bioservices is a leading clinical and commercial biologics CDMO focused on creating innovative solutions to meet the needs of our clients and improve patient outcomes.\n\nYour Role:\nThe Manufacturing Trainer supports Avid’s GMP manufacturing operations across Upstream, Downstream, and Formulation by delivering high quality training, executing hands on qualification, and reinforcing documentation and compliance standards. This role ensures employees are trained, qualified, and supported in developing the technical, procedural, and documentation capabilities required for success.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTraining Delivery & Facilitation\nDeliver classroom, virtual, and on-the-floor training for Upstream, Downstream, and Formulation operations.\nFacilitate OJT qualification sessions and ensure proper documentation.\nSupport new hire onboarding and early competency development.\nConduct refresher and capability-based training as needed.\nTraining Material Development\nAssist in developing SOP-based modules, technical process training, e-learning content, and qualification materials.\nCreate and update training checklists, assessments, and job aids.\nEnsure training materials reflect current processes and regulatory expectations.\nTraining Compliance & Documentation\nMaintain accurate training records.\nSupport curriculum updates, retraining triggers, and assignment accuracy.\nReinforce GDP and ALCOA+ principles.\nConduct and document Training Impact Assessments.\nOperational Support & Floor Presence\nProvide routine floor support to ensure correct technique and documentation.\nCoach employees on new processes, proper execution, and safety.\nIdentify training gaps and escalate to L&D Manager.\nMetrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement\nTrack training status, qualification progress, and compliance KPIs.\nSupport analysis of RFT documentation performance and correction trends.\nRecommend improvements to training methods and onboarding workflows.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with SMEs to maintain accurate technical content.\nCollaborate with QA to ensure compliance alignment.\nSupport HR during onboarding cycles.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline.\n1-3 years of GMP manufacturing or technical training experience.\nStrong understanding of GMP, GDP, and ALCOA+ principles.\nExperience delivering training or coaching.\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\nClear communication and coaching skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced GMP environment.\nCollaborative and cross-functional mindset.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in Upstream, Downstream, or Formulation operations.\nUnderstanding of adult learning principles.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\nThis role is a full-time onsite position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. The employee must also, if instructed, have the ability to work overtime when necessary.\nCompensation:\nWe offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.\nThe compensation range for this role is $25.48 to $33.99 hourly depending on experience and qualifications.
