Preferred candidates are focused, organized and thorough.\nRemote File Clerk Responsibilities:\nCollecting documentation from various sources.\n\nAssessing, organizing and coding documentation.\n\nCreating and updating files, and filing documentation in appropriate files.\n\nDestroying outdated files following protocol, or moving these to inactive storage.\n\nScanning files regularly to ensure their correct positions and to search for missing records.\n\nRetrieving records on request and forwarding these to relevant parties.\n\nMaking copies of and delivering records.\n\nExecuting authorized changes to filing system.\n\nAssisting with phone inquiries.\n\nReceiving and forwarding mail and courier packages.\n\nHigh school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.\n\n1+ years work experience in similar position.\n\nProficient with using computers, and MS Office Word and Excel.\n\nProficient with using photocopy and facsimile machines.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to maintain confidentiality of information.\n\nOutstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.\n\nAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nAt Avila Dental, you will experience a genuine sense of family and belonging.
