This role will contribute to general accounting activities, including bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end closing, financial reporting, and compliance. Additionally, the Accounting Assistant will provide support to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and other finance-related activities as needed to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.\nResponsibilities\nGeneral Accounting.\nSupport the Finance department in the different accounting areas: Bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, financial reporting & compliance\nSupport to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Treasury and other activities as needed.\nRequired\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related Field.\nExperience working in companies operating under Free Trade Zone regulations\nAdvanced knowledge of the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.\nWorking knowledge of IFRS (NIIF) and IAS (NIC) standards.\nKnowledge of Costa Rican tax regulations and local accounting requirements.\nExperience working with accounting software and ERP systems.\nIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and reporting.\nEnglish Proficiency. B2+\nDesired\nLicentiate's Degree in Accounting or related Field\nFamiliarity with Costa Rican electronic invoicing requirements and Value Added Tax (VAT) regulations.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (preferred).\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and reporting.\nEnglish Proficenciy.
