With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.\nJob Overview\nWe are searching for a tool design engineer with experience designing tools and equipment for large carbon fiber parts and assemblies for aircraft production. This person should be well versed in all aspects of the tool design process from concept sketches to implementing tools on the production floor. This is a hybrid job based out in our Heredia, Costa Rica office.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and improve manufacturing aids and equipment such as jigs, fixtures and molds.\nOptimize customer design standards for performance, consistency, and scalability\nExecute high-precision layouts utilizing GD&T to eliminate ambiguity in fabrication.\nCoordinate and support tooling activities across a wide range of departments including airframe design, structural analysis, planning, vendors & suppliers, manufacturing, production, quality assurance, testing and tool fabrication.\nApply Project Management Methodologies in the assigned projects.\nRequired\n5+ years of related experience as a tool design engineer or mechanical design engineer in aerospace or highly regulated industry. \nExperience working with 3D CAD Software (CATIA, NX, Solidworks, or similar) \nExperience in Mechanical design and prototype manufacturing in a professional environment. \nProject Management Experience. \nAbility to handle multiple projects and customers. \nEnglish: C1 \nDesired\nFamiliar with GD&T and common drafting practices in compliance with ASME Y14.5 & Y14.100 \nFEA Experience. \nProduct Design certifications or similar. \nTool Design Experience. \nInspection Fixture Design experience. \nData Science certifications or relevant experience. \nEnglish: C2\nYour Reward for
