If you are looking for interesting and challenging work, at a company committed to its people, find out more about what Aviso has to offer at www.aviso.ca.\nThe Opportunity:\nWe’re looking to fill an opening for a Reconciliations Administrator to join our Operations team for 12 months.\nReporting to the Supervisor of Control Services, the Reconciliations Administrator is responsible for completing reconciliations and reporting by prescribed internal and regulatory deadlines for multiple lines of business. These reconciliations cover control accounts, mutual fund positions, GIC’s, pool funds, bank accounts and any other products as required. The admin needs to identify all exceptions, review and work with the appropriate teams internally and/or externally to resolve them. The admin needs to have excellent verbal and written communication skills as they will interact with multiple internal departments as well as Fund Companies, GIC Issuers, Portfolio Managers, Credit Unions and Bank providers.\nAs oneaviso:\nWe Care - You do the right thing for clients, partners and colleagues. You hold yourself accountable and continuously look for ways to improve\nWhat your day looks like:\nComplete reconciliations required internally and by regulatory bodies (CIRO)\nLiaise with appropriate internal and external departments to rectify any outages between the firm and the fund companies\nGain an understanding of the regulatory requirements that these tasks satisfy\nEnsure all unit exceptions are resolved by reporting deadlines\nEnsure non-financial discrepancies are updated\nProvide support for dealer rep maintenance functions\nComplete all bank reconciliations in relation to Operating and Trust/Client related bank accounts. Review all exceptions and follow up with the banking group and/or the bank providers to resolve in a timely manner\nEnsure Credit Unions complete their bank reconciliations monthly.
