Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Associate. Candidate must be a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, who can support the firm’s real estate business development efforts with marketing, graphics, research, and communications skills. • Assist in the creation and management of property marketing campaigns including maintaining all property listing platforms. Experience with Real Capital Markets is a plus.
  • Create signage for properties and oversee their installation to maximize visibility to passing viewers
  • Create, modify, and format PowerPoint presentations, word documents, and excel charts by incorporating graphic elements such as pictures, logos, infographics, excel charts, floor plans, etc.
  • Create or coordinate the creation of custom maps, site plans and building stacking plans for use in proposals and presentations. Mark up sites with local roads and highways, points of interest, retailer logos etc.
  • Create and update market surveys using CoStar, LoopNet, and other listing services.
  • Direct drone operators to shoot still photographs and video and oversee video creation.
  • Basic color and contrast editing in Photoshop.
  • Social media presence with regular updates on LinkedIn.
  • Manage and maintain the market/region’s graphic files, including the firms’ stock and custom created photos and illustrations.
  • Collaborate with research on market reports and newsletters; statistical graphs, charts, and tables; white papers and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Collaborate with the PR/communications team on developing media-worthy content, e.g., new hires, closed deals, research reports, market-specific and regional news, trends, and stories.
  • Remain abreast of Avison Young’s new technology and innovation initiatives within the marketing organization and identify areas of use in the local market; commitment to evolve skills with changing needs.
  • Participate in the firm’s strategic marketing and communications best practices meetings, conference calls, and strategy sessions.

Qualifications

  • Expertise with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Working experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (editing in Photoshop, charts, and logos in Illustrator). Experience in Adobe Spark is a plus.
  • Experience with email marketing and CRMs (HubSpot experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of print and web design and production.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to proofread for spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams.
