The role focuses on journal entries, reconciliations, analytics, and reporting. Accountant Responsibilities: Perform monthly and quarterly journal entries in support of close and carry out feature film accounting activities. Entries include revenue and distribution cost accruals, barter and gross-to-net transactions, sub-distributor receivables and cash application, royalties and participations, title allocations, and bad-debt allowance. Complete monthly reconciliations, including Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt maintenance, prepayments, and gross-to-net deals, while reconciling sub-system feeds to the G/L and monitoring and clearing suspense accounts for multiple interfaces.
