Analyst Responsibilities:\nProvide technical and general accounting assistance to the Controller, primarily completing bank reconciliations for the current year.\nAnalyze financial information, accounting processes, and business systems to identify issues, prepare reports, recommend improvements to accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, and advise department personnel on accounting-related matters.\nSenior Financial Analyst Qualifications:\nExtensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), with working knowledge of fund accounting and healthcare accounting.\nExperience managing and maintaining accounting systems and producing financial reports for medical groups and physician networks.\nWorking knowledge of computerized general ledger and subsidiary accounting systems, including the flow of financial information and the ability to recommend system enhancements and modifications.\nProficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications to analyze financial data and prepare reports, presentations, and communications.\nExperience with Workday is preferred.\nExperience with Managed Care Plans is preferred.\nShift:\nMonday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, with flexibility to adjust working hours and work overtime as needed.
