A leading medical institution is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle patient account inquiries, collections, and refunds in a high-volume healthcare call center.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment, addressing and resolving patient account concerns and patient collections.
• Identify patient overpayments based on explanations of benefits, and accurately process refunds, transfer requests, and account reconciliations.
• Document patient accounts indicating resolution or escalation to the next level, keeping clear records of all actions taken.
• Perform duties in the call center and patient accounting systems (Epic), using appropriate codes for patient concerns and routing follow-ups to the appropriate work queues.

Customer Service Representative Qualifications:

• 3+ years of customer service experience within a hospital or healthcare setting.
• General knowledge of patient financial responsibilities.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is preferred.

Shift:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
