This role supports quality assurance activities through inspection, equipment calibration, documentation, and corrective action processes to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and manufacturing standards.\nQuality Technician 2 Responsibilities:\nPerform mechanical inspections of precision-machined components using advanced metrology equipment, including CMMs (optical and touch probe), interferometers, laser micrometers, and other precision measurement systems.\nInterpret engineering drawings and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), to verify component compliance with quality and manufacturing requirements.\nPerform calibration of metrology equipment and maintain accurate inspection, calibration, and quality documentation.\nSupport Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities by investigating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), documenting findings, and assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions.\nCollaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.\nQuality Technician 2 Qualifications:\nUniversity degree, specialized training/certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience in a quality control and manufacturing environment performing precision mechanical inspections using advanced metrology equipment, including CMMs, optical measurement systems, interferometers, laser micrometers, or similar technologies.\nStrong ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), with excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support equipment calibration, quality documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.\nKnowledge of Lean manufacturing, CAPA, root cause investigations, Kaizen/PDCA, and ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or FDA quality standards and certifications is preferred.\nShift:\n10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
