We are looking for a candidate to join an internationally successful plant and machinery engineering company in the southern Ruhr region/Sauerland as soon as possible.

Technical Sales Manager (m/f/d).

What awaits you

  • Development of technical solutions based on individual customer requirements
  • Review and evaluation of requirements documents, as well as coordination of technical specifications
  • Preparation of proposals, including cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation
  • Presenting technical and business concepts to national and international customers
  • Independently managing bid and contract negotiations through to order confirmation
  • Coordinating and collaborating with internal departments as well as external partners and suppliers
  • Maintaining and expanding existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Supporting the further development of market and sales strategies
  • Representing the company at trade shows and industry events

What you should bring

  • A successfully completed technical degree, ideally in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in technical sales, project sales, or business development
  • Understanding of capital goods and technical processes that require explanation
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Strong communication skills in an international environment
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Willingness to travel as part of customer service duties
