This role works within a highly professional and strategically focused business partnering team reporting to the Manager, Finance Business Partnering.\nCome Join our Team!\nWhat you’ll do\nReport/prepare on financial performance for senior leadership reviews.\n\nEvaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.\n\nProvide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.\n\nLead the monthly performance review discussions with Commercial SLT.\n\nAnalyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.\n\nData mining/ stitching to help deep dive and tell the financial story.\n\nPerform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.\n\nRecommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.\n\nIdentify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.\n\nIncrease productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.\n\nMaintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.\n\nWork with key stakeholders across the organization (Pricing, Reserving, Underwriting & Claims etc.).\n\nAd Hoc projects/analysis.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects).\n\nWhat you'll bring\n3 - 5 years post-qualification financial analysis experience.\n\nThis position demands a high level of independence, visibility, and communication. Therefore, effective communication skills are needed.\n\nAbility to manage multiple initiatives in a structured and controlled framework.\n\nDemonstrable understanding and strategic perspective on the insurance industry.\n\nSound understanding of financial, strategic and performance management processes.\n\nProven track record of working in a fast paced environment.\n\nA degree in Business (Finance, Economics, Accounting & Finance) or equivalent.\n\nCPA or considering pursuing a CPA.\n\nWhat you’ll get:\nThe salary band for this position ranges from $85,000 - $90,000.
