You will play a key role in our Guidewire Cloud transformation, leveraging Guidewire Cloud capabilities to deliver scalable, reliable, and customer-centric insurance solutions.\nWhat you’ll do\nBuild architectural diagrams / design documents.\n\nWrite programs, configure / package / deploy software.\n\nPerform peer code reviews.\n\nCollaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.\n\nDesign and implement integrations with external systems.\n\nEnsure standard methodologies are followed in code development, testing, and deployment.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.\n\nManage the technical aspects of Guidewire upgrades and patches.\n\nResolve and address complex technical issues promptly.\n\nMonitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionality.\n\nWhat you’ll bring\nBachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent experience.\n\n5+ years proven experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Development.\n\nExpertise in GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins.\n\nRead code in other languages and reverse engineer products.\n\nAgile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.\n\nDomain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance\n\n5+ years of Guidewire development experience.\n\n5+ years of experience coding RESTful APIs.\n\n5+ years of experience with coding in multiple programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, etc.\n\nExpertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications.\n\nExperience building modern web applications and designing Web APIs with REST/JSON.\n\nIn-depth understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development.\n\n Must have:\nGuidewire Associate Certification.\n\nHands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter experience.\n\nExperience working on Guidewire Cloud.\n\nDeep experience across core PolicyCenter functional areas, including Policy lifecycle (Submission, Quote, Bind, Issuance, Endorsement, Rewrite, Cancellation, Renewal), Job configuration and workflows, out-of-sequence processing and pre-renewal directions.\n\nProven experience with PolicyCenter product model configuration: Coverages, exclusions, modifiers, rulesets, and availability rules.\n\nStrong expertise in PolicyCenter business rules: Underwriting rules, Validation rules, Pre-quote / post-quote rules.\n\nHands-on experience configuring PolicyCenter UI and screens, including PC configuration layers, Display keys, page layouts and widgets.\n\nFamiliarity with Guidewire Cloud Tools: TeamCity, Bitbucket, DataDog, Guidewire Home.\n\nUnderstanding Guidewire Messaging Engine: Message Queues, Message Transports, Plugins.\n\n What makes you stand out\nGuidewire Ace Certification (preferably PolicyCenter).\n\nGuidewire Integration or Billing Center Knowledge.\n\nExposure to Advanced Product Designer (APD) for product modeling or maintenance\n\nExperience with Rating configuration: Rate books, Rate tables, Rating algorithms and modifiers.\n\nExperience writing automated GUnit tests for configurations using Guidewire data builders.\n\nExperience upgrading Guidewire Cloud versions.\n\nExperience handling Guidewire Cloud Assurance Reports and leading the resolution.\n\n5+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL - MS SQL Server & Transact SQL proficiency preferred.\n\nWhat you’ll get\nThe salary band for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000.
