We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Engineer to join Aviva Ireland's IT team. In this role, you'll help shape how data is leveraged across the business, acting as a trusted advocate for data-driven decision making and innovation. You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders to design scalable data solutions, strengthen data governance practices, and unlock the value of our enterprise data assets. This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategy, drive innovation, and contribute to the evolution of Aviva's data capabilities. Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain Aviva's data architecture, ensuring the integrity, security and accessibility of critical data assets across the organisation. Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, MI specialists and key business stakeholders to deliver data solutions that support strategic objectives. Build pragmatic business cases and technical approaches that maximise the value of data while balancing operational, regulatory and project requirements. Implement and promote robust data governance frameworks, ensuring high standards of data quality, security, compliance and stewardship
