This strategic initiative focuses on transforming corporate offerings through agile delivery, digital innovation, and operational excellence.\nYou’ll play a key role in enabling high-performing, cross-functional teams, facilitating effective Agile delivery, removing impediments, and promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Working closely with Product Owners, Programme Managers, and key stakeholders, you’ll help ensure delivery remains aligned with programme objectives, priorities, and timelines.\nSkills and experience we’re looking for\nProven experience as a Scrum Master within large-scale Agile programmes.\n\nStrong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.\n\nExpert-level proficiency in Agile delivery tools, particularly Jira and Confluence.\n\nExcellent facilitation, coaching, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.\n\nExperience supporting distributed teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.\n\nStrong understanding of Agile delivery metrics, sprint tracking, and performance monitoring.\n\nAbility to identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive effective problem resolution.\n\nDay-to-day responsibilities\nFacilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring ceremonies remain focused and productive.\n\nCoach and support cross-functional teams in Agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement.\n\nIdentify and remove impediments, escalating issues and resolving dependencies where necessary.\n\nMonitor sprint progress, team velocity, and delivery metrics to support predictable outcomes.\n\nWork closely with Product Owners and Programme Managers to maintain clarity around scope, priorities, and delivery objectives.\n\nFacilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.\n\nDrive actionable improvements through retrospectives and promote Agile maturity across teams and the wider programme.\n\nDesirable experience\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or an equivalent Agile qualification.\n\nExperience within financial services, particularly life assurance.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile delivery in regulated environments.\n\nExperience contributing to large-scale transformation programmes involving digital innovation and operational improvement.\n\nHow to apply\nPlease ensure that you attach an up-to-date CV to your application.\nWe’re inclusive and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences.
