At AVL, you will work with advanced automotive systems, collaborate with industry-leading customers, and become part of a global engineering community where knowledge sharing and continuous development are part of everyday work.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAs a V&V Engineer, you will work with verification and validation of advanced electro-mobility systems and contribute to ensuring safe, reliable, and high-performing products. Depending on the assignment, you may work as an independent specialist supporting a customer team or as part of a larger AVL delivery team responsible for a complete work package. You will often collaborate cross-functionally with engineers from different technical disciplines and contribute throughout the entire verification and validation process, from requirements analysis and test planning to execution, result evaluation, and reporting. Occasional travel within Europe may be required as part of the role.\nDepending on the assignment, your responsibilities may include:\nAnalyzing, reviewing, and managing system requirements\nDeveloping test plans, test strategies, and verification concepts\nExecuting functional, system, and integration tests\nWorking in laboratory and test cell environments\nPerforming vehicle testing and environmental validation\nCollecting, analyzing, and evaluating test data\nInvestigating deviations and identifying improvement opportunities\nDocumenting and presenting test results to technical teams and project stakeholders\nContributing to the development of test methods, test environments, and automated test solutions\nYOUR PROFILE:\nTo succeed in this role, we believe you have:\nA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Vehicle Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field\nAt least 3 years of experience within the automotive industry\nAt least 2 years of experience working with electro-mobility systems\nExperience in test case definition, test execution, and reporting\nExperience developing test plans and test structures\nExperience working with requirements management tools\nExperience working with data acquisition and analysis tools\nExperience with CAN-based communication and diagnostic tools\nExperience from the Swedish automotive industry\nFluent English, spoken and written\nA valid European Class B driving license\nIt is considered a strong advantage if you have experience with:\nSwedish language skills\nRequirements management and diagnostic tools (e.g. SystemWeaver, CarWeaver, ATI Vision, ETAS INCA, CarCom, DSA, VIDA)\nCAN communication, testing, and simulation tools (e.g. CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL, dSPACE, vTestStudio)\nHIL systems and automated testing\nMATLAB, Simulink, TargetLink, Python, and modern development toolchains (GitLab, Gerrit, Jenkins)\nJira, Confluence, and collaborative development environments\nDebugging, fault tracing, and verification of complex systems\nSystem safety, legal requirements, and compliance verification\nVehicle testing, proving ground activities, and climate validation\nLauterbach TRACE32\nEuropean Class C driving license\nPersonal attributes:\nYou are a curious and solution-oriented engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges and turning ideas into reliable solutions.
