(e.g.accident & life Insurance, meal vouchers)\nThe exact compensation package for the successful candidate picked for the position will be based on a number of objective factors, such as experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications or location.\nWe value and respect our people by embracing diversity of backgrounds, learning, experience and thought, creating equal opportunities across our workplace culture.\nWhat you will be doing:\nMonitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company\nOversee the automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, AP\nNon-Trade Accounts payables, journal entries\nPrepare financial reports, manage the month-end closing process and perform monthly reconciliations\nManage monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities following Local and US GAAP\nEnsure the integrity of accounting information by verifying and recording transactions\nManage cash activities and reporting, including payment preparation\nManage interactions with Tax Authorities for audit and special requests\nMaintain and review financial records, including Fixed Assets Ledger\nEnsure compliance with local accounting legislation, tax laws, standards and reporting timeliness\nManage intercompany and bank reconciliations\nManage the preparation of VAT returns, working in liaison with local tax and legal consultants to ensure the correct calculation of monthly VAT and taxable income; prepare VAT reports, the Journal Book, F24 forms and other government-related filings\nInteract directly with auditors to discuss and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner\nMaintain strong knowledge of accounting and finance practices\nAnalyse new transactions and documenting appropriate accounting treatment under Local GAAP and US GAAP and ensuring that it is applied\nWhat we are looking for:\nExtensive experience in a similar role within Italian and international entities\nDegree in Accounting, Finance or Economics\nA strong understanding of administrative and accounting processes,\nExtensive experience in general or tax accounting\nFamiliarity with US GAAP\nProven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations\nFluent in English\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\nAdvanced knowledge of Excel and SAP\nAbility to work in cross collaboration with both internal and external teams\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
