This is an exciting opportunity to drive enterprise-wide security initiatives, partner with stakeholders across the organization, and mentor junior team members while further developing your leadership capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead cybersecurity risk assessments and risk management activities across the organization.\nManage third-party cyber risk assessments and supplier security reviews.\nSupport and lead SOX, audit, compliance, and customer security assessment activities.\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance cybersecurity policies, standards, and governance processes.\nMonitor remediation efforts and validate the effectiveness of security controls.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives for GRC processes, automation, reporting, and metrics.\nDevelop executive-level and management-level cyber risk reporting and dashboards.\nMentor and provide day-to-day guidance to Analyst I and Analyst II team members.\nPartner with IT, Information Security, Legal, Privacy, Audit, Procurement, and business stakeholders globally to support security and compliance objectives.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, GRC, Risk Management, Compliance, IT Audit, Information Security, or Third-Party Risk Management.\nProven experience leading risk assessments, audits, compliance reviews, or security governance initiatives.\nStrong understanding of cybersecurity controls, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with SOX, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC, Privacy frameworks, and Customer Security Assessments.\nExperience working with GRC platforms such as AuditBoard, ServiceNow, OnSpring, or similar tools.\nPrevious mentoring, team lead, or supervisory experience.\nRelevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or equivalent are a plus.\nWhat You'll Bring\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to balance risk management with business objectives.\nA proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPassion for cybersecurity, governance, and developing others.\nWhy Join Avnet?\nOpportunity to influence and strengthen cybersecurity programs at a global organization.\nCollaborative and inclusive culture that values innovation and professional growth.\nExposure to diverse business functions and enterprise-wide initiatives.\nLeadership development opportunities through mentoring and cross-functional collaboration.\nWhat We Offer:\nAt Avnet, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
