Ensures efficiency of service center operations, technology and transaction processes. Coordinates services with the human resource information systems, human resource program managers and technology specialists. Applies working knowledge and understanding of HR principles to assist team members, managers and customers.\n Principal Responsibilities:\nSupports one or more human resource functional areas in the HR Service Center (HRSC).\n\nProvides first level response support to managers, team members, employees and other customers.\n\nReceives inquiries and responds to requests following appropriate policies and practices; provides basic interpretation of policies.\n\nParticipates on and provides coordinative support to project teams and collaborates with other team members to achieve deliverables.\n\nPrepare correspondence and reports.\n\nInputs or maintains data relevant to processing employee data changes.\n\nMaintains documentation or records within appropriate systems.\n\nKeep updated on local labour laws; ensure all HR procedures comply with statutory requirements.\n\nWorks cross-functionally with in the HRSC (as required) to coordinate customer resolution.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nJob Level Specifications:\nThorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline. Competent in all job functions and has general understanding of the industry practices, techniques and standards.\n\nDevelops solutions for a variety of situations and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis. May refer to policies, practices and precedents for guidance; determines best course of action to achieve results.\n\nWork is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. May receive some limited guidance for new assignments. Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy.\n\nCollaborates with management and team members within the department/function and other areas of the organization. May represent department internally or externally.\n\nActions may impact the success of the overall department and/or the organization. Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions may result in delays to projects, loss of revenue or allocation of additional resources to remedy.\n\nWork Experience:\nTypically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.\n\n Education and Certification(s):\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.\n\nDemonstrate strong knowledge of local labor laws and statutory compliance\n\nGood knowledge of awards.\n\nProficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workday.\n\nStrong Microsoft Office skills; experience with Power BI or HR analytics tools is advantageous.\n\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
