Experience what’s next at Avnet!\nJob Summary:\nEnsures the integrity of the financial and physical inventory.\nPrincipal Responsibilities:\nIdentifies and researches variances between the financial and physical inventory.\nAdjusts, audits and submits journal entry corrections.\nAssesses stock levels and reorder status.\nParticipates in and ensures accuracy of periodic and special inventory counts. May reconcile discrepancies between financial inventories and physical counts.\nEnsures documentation is complete, accurate and processed appropriately to serve as an inventory audit trail including review, update, and maintaining inventory delivery lead time and ship and debit records.\nIdentifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.\nMaintains and updates systems as required.\nOther duties as assigned.\nJob Level Specifications:\nExtensive knowledge of the organization, job, practices and procedures, enabling a high level of contribution.\nCompletes complex assignments requiring significant judgment, initiative and problem solving skills.\nWork is performed under minimal guidance and assigned in the form of desired expectations. Independent judgment is used to determine best approach and creativity is expected to achieve maximum results and handle new situations.\nCollaboration with internal or external contacts. May participate on teams for special assignments. Responds to requests from senior management, internal and/or external contacts.\nActions may have significant impact to department as well as others. Errors may be difficult to detect and remedy and potentially result in loss of customer business, materials, money and/or time.\nWork Experience:\nTypically requires a minimum of five years of related experience.\nEducation and Certification(s):\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nDistinguishing Characteristics:\nMay require forklift and/or Power Industrial (PIT) certifications\nRequires basic Excel knowledge.\nMay require standing for prolonged periods of time; bend, stoop, squat, twist; lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds ocassionally; negotiating steps, stools and ladders; working at heights exceeding 15 feet; frequently wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)\nWhat We Offer:\nOur employees work hard to live our values and help us grow.
