They will have proven experience implementing secure authentication solutions, Conditional Access policies, SAML-based application integrations, and modern identity management best practices.\nThis role is critical in ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our identity infrastructure and access management services.\nKey Responsibilities\nActive Directory Administration\nManage and support Microsoft Active Directory environments.\nAdminister users, groups, organizational units, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).\nTroubleshoot authentication, replication, DNS, and Active Directory-related issues.\nImplement and maintain Active Directory security best practices.\nSupport AD upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery processes.\nActive Directory Sites and Services.\nMicrosoft EntraID Administration\nAdminister Microsoft EntraID (formerly Azure Active Directory).\nConfigure and manage users, groups, enterprise applications, and identities.\nSupport identity lifecycle management processes.\nConfigure and monitor authentication methods and identity protection capabilities.\nImplement and maintain EntraID security controls.\nHybrid Identity Management\nManage and troubleshoot Active Directory synchronization with EntraID.\nSupport Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect environments.\nUnderstand authentication mechanisms including:Password Hash Synchronization (PHS)\nPass-through Authentication (PTA)\nFederation\nSingle Sign-On (SSO)\n\nConditional Access & Authentication\nDesign and implement Conditional Access policies.\nConfigure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).\nManage authentication methods and authentication strengths.\nSupport passwordless authentication technologies including:Microsoft Authenticator\nFIDO2 Security Keys\nWindows Hello for Business\n\nApplication Integration\nConfigure and support SAML-based application integrations.\nManage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.\nTroubleshoot identity federation and authentication issues.\nWork with application owners and vendors to onboard enterprise applications.\nSecurity & Compliance\nReview identity security posture and recommend improvements.\nMonitor and investigate authentication and access-related incidents.\nSupport audit and compliance requirements.\nImplement least-privilege access principles and role-based access controls (RBAC).\nEssential Skills & Experience\nRequired\nMinimum 5 years' experience administering Microsoft Active Directory.\nMinimum 5 years' experience working with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).\nStrong understanding of hybrid identity architecture.\nProven experience with Azure AD Connect / Entra Connect.\nStrong understanding of how Active Directory and Entra ID communicate and synchronise.\nExperience implementing and managing Conditional Access policies.\nKnowledge of authentication methods and identity protection controls.\nExperience implementing and supporting Multi-Factor Authentication.\nStrong understanding of Single Sign-On technologies.\nHands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting SAML applications.\nExperience with DNS, LDAP, Kerberos, and Group Policy.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nDesirable\nExperience with Microsoft Intune.\nExperience with Privileged Identity Management (PIM).\nExperience with Identity Governance.\nPowerShell scripting and automation experience.\nExperience with Microsoft Defender products.\nKnowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.\nExperience in regulated or enterprise environments.\nPreferred Certifications\nOne or more of the following certifications would be advantageous:\nMicrosoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)\nMicrosoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)\nMicrosoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)\nPersonal Attributes\nStrong communication skills.\nAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nExcellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively.\nSecurity-focused mindset.\nWhat We Offer:\nOur employees work hard to live our values and help us grow.
