Experience what’s next at Avnet!\nJob Summary:\nConsults with customers on a regular basis concerning design, development and maintenance of product. Coordinates installation procedures. Assists sales channel, field teams and customers with technical solutions to support the customer's business objectives.\n Principal Responsibilities:\nAssists in analyzing data to determine feasibility of product proposal.\nWill implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to document and build process. Communicates Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) to production, sales, and customer engineering team.\nWill be required to integrate and document Order Specific Information (OSI), first article and prototype orders.\nEMEA DataGroup Analysts and ECO review Quote and update\nImplement and Quate ECO services and changes control requests.\nResolves all technical and process related issues. Documents build process and trains production staff on customer requirements, as well as industry best practices. Consults with other technology staff to evaluate operational and performance requirements of overall design/prototype.\nConfers with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problems. Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout. Directs and coordinates building/manufacturing of product or system.\nReviews change requests, evaluates impact of change, and provides implementation timelines.\n\nIdentifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.\nOther duties as assigned.\nJob Level Specifications:\nMastery knowledge of industry best practices and disciplines. Considered a subject matter expert within the organization and contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.\nDevelops solutions to highly complex and uniquely challenging situations. Assignments require extensive evaluation of alternatives and variables. Expected to make improvements to policies and procedures.\nWorks independently toward long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion. May act as informal team lead and/or coach less experienced team members.\nServes as consultant to management and/or internal/external spokesperson for the organization on major initiatives related to policies, plans and long-range objectives.\nActions may impact the organization and its reputation. Effects of erroneous decisions may be long-lasting, influence the future course of the organization and/or require the expenditure of extensive additional resources.\nWork Experience:\nTypically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.\n Education and Certification(s):\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.\n Distinguishing Characteristics:\nLeads complex interdepartmental process improvement teams.
