Experience what’s next at Avnet!\nJob Summary:\nDevelops, evaluates, analyzes, revises, applies and deploys technical quality assurance tools, methods and appropriate work content for assigned areas.\nPrincipal Responsibilities:\nSupport the monitoring and improvement of manufacturing and business processes.\nCollect, analyze, and report quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.\nAssist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities.\nParticipate in audits, inspections, and process reviews.\nHelp maintain quality documentation, procedures, and records.\nCollaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to resolve quality issues.\nSupport continuous improvement projects focused on reducing defects and improving process performance.\nOther duties as assigned.\n Job Level Specifications:\nFoundational knowledge of quality systems, process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nFamiliarity with quality tools including Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, Pareto Analysis, SPC, and FMEA.\nExperience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting process and quality data using Microsoft Excel and statistical methods.\nKnowledge of ISO-compliant quality management systems, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and document control practices.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, process flows, and work instructions.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a focus on process improvement and defect reduction.\nEffective communicator with experience collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and quality teams.\nCollaborates with immediate management and team members within the department or function across multiple sites.\nWork Experience:\nTypically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent.\n Education and Certification(s):\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.\n Distinguishing Characteristics:\nExperience in electronics manufacturing is a plus\nQuality Assurance & Quality Control\nRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)\nProcess Improvement\nFailure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA)\nCorrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)\nData Analysis & Reporting\nContinuous Improvement\nLean Manufacturing Fundamentals\nEngineering Documentation Review\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nAbility to effectively communicate with outside customers/suppliers/vendors\nPosition may require the ability to travel.\nWhat We Offer:\nOur employees work hard to live our values and help us grow.
