Ensures that organization and development goals are in the best interest of the organization, while properly leveraging human resources to achieve these goals.\nPrincipal Responsibilities:\nDevelops learning and development strategies for all levels of the organization\nDirects the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group\nManages the hiring, staffing and maintenance of a diverse and effective team \nResponsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of direct reports\nDirects the research, development, implementation and maintenance of learning and development solutions and technology for the organization\nProvides consulting and strategic business direction within and outside the HR function regarding learning and development solutions\nLeverages global scale for technology, contracts and application of best practices\nHas overall responsibility for developing and implementing effective and productive organizational development and learning solutions\nDirects initiatives and programs to assist with organizational change management \nWorks closely with senior leadership in the implementation of corporate policies related to organizational and team member development \nTalent pool management and successor planning.\nJob Level Specifications:\nManages direct managers and/or highly skilled specialists who exercise significant latitude and independence. Often oversees one or more departments or related teams.\nEstablishes operating policies and procedures that affect departments and direct teams. Interprets enterprise-wide policies and procedures. Develops budgets, schedules and performance standards for one or more departments. Responsible for resources and policy formation in area of responsibility.\nAssignments are defined in the form of long-term objectives. Decisions are guided by resource availability, functional objectives and independent judgment.\nCollaborates frequently with internal and/or external management. Leads meetings and briefings for internal and/or external representatives. Often coordinates efforts between functional areas and/or members of an extended assignment/project team.\nDecisions likely have extended impact on the outcomes of multiple departments or teams.
