Experience what’s next at Avnet!\nJob Summary\nIdentifies opportunities for business expansion in support of the sales strategy, with a focus on sensor, image sensor, embedded vision, and related sensing solutions. Develops and maintains productive relationships with customer technical and supplier stakeholders by providing technically credible sensing and imaging solutions for the defined area of responsibility to support revenue growth and business objectives.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nSupports the execution of sensor and imaging growth plans by engaging customer engineering and procurement teams to influence specifications, design-ins, and product adoption. \nIdentifies and develops opportunity demand for sensor and imaging products through technical discovery and solution alignment. \nActs as a technical resource and subject matter contributor for assigned sensor and imaging products, including environmental, motion, position, optical, radar, ultrasonic, MEMS, image sensor, camera, and embedded vision solutions. \nWorks closely with account managers, field applications engineers, and suppliers to position solutions that meet customer performance, reliability, integration, and cost requirements. \nAnalyzes program and account performance related to sensor and imaging solutions, providing feedback on success factors, gaps, and emerging growth opportunities. \nMaintains working knowledge of sensor and imaging technologies, competitors, and market trends, with the ability to articulate differentiation and tradeoffs at a solution level. \nHelps establish and maintain effective working relationships with supplier field teams, including sales, applications engineering, and product management. \nOther duties as assigned. \nJob Level Specifications\nDemonstrates solid technical and business understanding of sensor, image sensor, and embedded vision solutions and how customers deploy them in real-world applications. \nManages moderate-to-high complexity across accounts and opportunities, requiring structured problem solving and sound technical judgment, with guidance from senior peers as needed. \nSupports negotiations and opportunity strategy for mid-to-large opportunities. \nRecognized internally and externally as a capable technical business partner, able to earn credibility with customer engineers while advancing commercial objectives. \nContributes to team success and may mentor colleagues on products, applications, tools, or selling motion. \nWork Experience\nMinimum experience required is typically 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent\nEducation and Certification(s)\nBachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.\nWhat We Offer:\nOur employees work hard to live our values and help us grow.
