The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, engineering leadership, and hands-on experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data.\n\nThe role requires a strong track record of managing engineering teams, contributing to technical strategy, and partnering with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute the direction of scalable platforms.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software and machine learning engineers, fostering a high-performance engineering culture.\n\n- Drive the development and delivery of large-scale backend software, platforms, and AI/ML solutions.\n\n- Provide technical leadership and contribute to the overall technical strategy and architecture of the team.\n\n- Partner closely with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define product and platform direction.\n\n- Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions and engineering roadmaps.\n\n- Guide engineering teams through system design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.\n\n- Drive engineering best practices around code quality, scalability, reliability, performance, and security.\n\n- Identify technical challenges, dependencies, and risks and ensure timely resolution.\n\n- Build and maintain a strong engineering organization through hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development.\n\n- Collaborate with Data Science, Product, Design, DevOps, and other technical teams to deliver AI/ML-driven products and platforms.\n\n- Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve engineering capabilities and platform performance.\n\n- Establish engineering metrics and processes to improve productivity, quality, and delivery predictability.\n\n- Communicate technical strategy, project progress, risks, and key decisions to senior leadership.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience : \n\n- 10+ years of experience in software engineering management or a comparable engineering leadership role.\n\n- Strong technical experience building and scaling large-scale backend software, distributed systems, or technology platforms.\n\n- Proven experience managing and growing large development or engineering teams.\n\n- Strong experience managing, mentoring, and developing software engineers and technical leaders.\n\n- Experience working with AI, Machine Learning, Data, or related technologies.\n\n- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, reliability, and engineering best practices.\n\n- Experience contributing to and influencing technical strategy and engineering roadmaps.\n\n- Strong experience partnering with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders.\n\n- Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile engineering practices.\n\n- Strong communication, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, and decision-making
