As a rapidly expanding business, there is a high degree of opportunity for progression, creativity, and ownership.In the last 12 months, we have seen growth across all metrics, and we are looking for strong software engineers to scale up our platform.\nWhat you will be doing in the role (Responsibilities)\nDevelop features and improvements to the Avoma product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way\n\nCollaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering (Frontend, UX, etc.) to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment\n\nAdvocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance\n\nSolve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity\n\nCraft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale environment.\n\nConduct Code Review to ensure performance of our backend services\n\nBuild RESTful APIs and features for UI application clients (including Web and Mobile)\n\nDeploy and integrate with machine learning models developed by the AI team\n\nOwn and work the core data processing pipeline and video processing pipeline\n\nThird-party integrations - Calendar, CRM systems, Video Conferencing\n\nSearch and analytics infrastructure\n\nDevOps and security\n\nWe use the Django framework to build our backend platform and React.js for our frontend application.\nRequirements\nWhat you need to be successful in the role (Qualifications)\nAt least 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with a track record of delivering software with high business impact\n\nSignificant professional experience withPython, Django\n\nExperience building RESTful APIs\n\nUsing Coding AI agents like Cursor and different prompting techniques.\n\nSystem Design knowledge using AWS services and other frameworks of Python / Django ecosystem.\n\nExperience writing scalable, high-performant, and clean code\n\nB.S./B.E. in Computer Science or relevant engineering field\n\nProficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a largely asynchronous work environment\n\nWhat sets you apart (Preferred Qualifications)\nDemonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions\n\nExperience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems\n\nComfort working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process\n\nPositive and solution-oriented mindset\n\nAn inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility\n\nExperience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work closely with other parts of the organization\n\nKnowledge of Artificial Intelligence technologies and tools\n\nBenefits\nWhat you get from Avoma (Benefits)\nA transparent salary structure\nSenior Salary Range: ₹2,800,000 - ₹3,800,000 Depending on Experience.\n\n15 days of PTO annually on top of company holidays\n\nEmployee Stock Options Program\n\nAbout Avoma\nAvoma is an intelligent meeting assistant for teams looking to automate some of the common tasks required for customer-focused meetings.
