If you are a technically strong, organized, confident, experienced, energetic multi-tasker with conceptual thinking skills, then you will find a rewarding and satisfying home with Avo Photonics.\nSpecifically:\n Ensure the customer’s requirements are captured and the development effort is fully defined\n Continuously review the optical, mechanical, and system-level design progress and redirect as needed to efficiently derive a product design that meets or exceeds the customer requirements as well as the highest standards for innovation, quality, and manufacturability\n Prepare and present periodic status updates to customers\n Ensure deliverables are on track and update the customer on any schedule changes\n Ensure profitability of each assigned program throughout its life cycle from development through full-scale production\n Support Avo sales activity providing feedback for the preparation of cost models and quotes for existing and new customers, as required.\n Identify and develop, with Avo sales, new business opportunities with existing customers during regular customer meetings\n Support engagement with new and existing customers at trade shows and similar events, as required\n Oversee program documentation and review and approve quality documents associated with assigned programs to ensure they are thorough, accurate, and complete\nRequirements:\n M.Sc. or higher in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related technical field\n 5 years of Program/Project Management or Systems Engineering experience in photonics\n Deep understanding of optical component assembly/packaging processes\n High attention to detail, integrated planner, motivated, willing to take initiative\n Outstanding verbal and written communication skills\n US citizen or permanent resident\nAvo Photonics offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
