You'll drive a strong HSEQ culture, lead site teams and subcontractors, ensure compliance and project documentation standards are met, and work closely with operational and training teams to develop capability, performance, and project success.\n\nResponsibilities:\nUnderstand and manage the contract scope for each project.\nEnsure accurate completion of site diaries.\nMaintain appropriate welfare facilities on site.\nPrepare RFQs for required subcontracted activities.\nHold pre-start meetings with all subcontractors at least one week before work begins.\nProduce and maintain rolling 4-week look-ahead programmes.\nLiaise regularly with client operational teams to coordinate site activities.\nChair collaborative meetings with clients and subcontractors.\nReview and discuss Avove direct RAMS with Site Supervisors.\nReview and discuss subcontractor RAMS with relevant site and engineering teams.\nReview and approve subcontractor payment applications promptly.\nLead new-starter inductions for regional/workstream staff.\nArrange subcontractor inductions via Site Supervisors.\nComplete two Site Supervisor inspections per week.\nIssue permits as required.\nReview Crane Lift Plans (where AP-trained).\nGenerate, review, and approve non-crane lift plans.\nDeliver daily briefings to site teams.\n\nAbout you\nStrong knowledge of CDM, health & safety, and environmental legislation.\nExperience within the water sector or a similar utilities environment.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nA collaborative approach with the ability to build strong working relationships.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nFull UK driving licence.\nValid CSCS Card.\n\nThis role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Visa process.
